Description

Departing from Port Edgar we travel up-river, under the new Queensferry Crossing, to Rosyth Dockyard which is the construction site for Britain’s new Aircraft Carriers and home to our four redundant “Cold War” nuclear submarines. Turing east, you’ll experience unparalleled views of the famous Forth Bridges. Look out for the fantastic abundance of wildlife that lives in the river including seals, porpoises and a wide range of wild seabirds. Your trip will finish with a high speed circuit passing the Islands of Inchcolm, Inchmickery and Inchgarvie and, if you’re lucky or choose your dates wisely, we may get up close with one of the many cruise ships that anchor in the river each year. Your skipper will ensure you have the best trip possible, whether it’s blasting over the water at up to 40 mph or spotting the wildlife and history on the River Forth.

Please refer to our RIB Explorer Guide for further information on the sights you will see and the history behind them.
